Each branch (taxon) in the taxonomy can be collapsed if it contains lower taxa by clicking on the **"-" (minus)** sign to the left of a taxon name. Then, by clicking the **"+" (plus)** sign, the branch can be expanded.
You can search for a specific species by typing part of its name into the **search bar** and pressing enter or clicking **search** button.
**Show popular species** button provides most visited species cards.
Clicking on a **_taxon name_** (including species) gives the taxon card displaying its description, taxon dependencies, and a list of experiments containing this taxon.
Clicking on a **_species name_** additionally generates statistical charts, based on the information collected throughout the AMDB.
