Each branch (taxon) in the taxonomy can be collapsed if it contains lower taxa by clicking on the **"-" (minus)** sign to the left of a taxon name. Then, by clicking the **"+" (plus)** sign, the branch can be expanded. You can search for a specific species by typing part of its name into the **search bar** and pressing enter or clicking **search** button. **Show popular species** button provides most visited species cards. Clicking on a **_taxon name_** (including species) gives the taxon card displaying its description, taxon dependencies, and a list of experiments containing this taxon. Clicking on a **_species name_** additionally generates statistical charts, based on the information collected throughout the AMDB. *Disclaimer: The AMDB taxonomy provided is not an authoritative source for nomenclature or classification - please consult the relevant scientific literature for the most reliable information.*
